Product Notes

Barone Ricasoli Castello di Brolio Gran Selezione is a premier Italian red wine hailing from the heart of Tuscan wine-making country. The pour boasts a deep ruby colour, hinting at its complex, full-bodied nature. The nose delivers aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries laced with notes of toasted almond and elegant spices. On the palate, expect a delicate balance of acidity and firm tannins that lifts the rich, layered fruit flavours, creating a long and satisfying finish. Exceptional on its own, it also pairs exquisitely with hearty meals and mature cheeses. A standout addition to any discerning wine connoisseur’s collection.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red color. Complex nose with fruity aromas of red fruits, plums, balsamic hints and vanilla scents. The entry is firm but elegant, with sweet tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long with excellent persistence. It is the “grand vin” of Brolio.
