Casa Rojo Las Viñas Bastardas is a bold, characterful Spanish wine hailing from the Murcia region. Its monastrell grape variety imparts sumptuous, robust flavours of plum, black cherry and dark chocolate, with hints of spicy oak, liquorice and herbal notes. Literally translating as "Bastard Vines", this refers to vineyards just outside of DO's that cannot be included in those wines, but still make exceptional wines! Made from Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, this is a wine ruby red in colour, with fruit and floral notes on the nose, ending in hints of violet. Elegant and well spiced on the palate with good length.
