Product Notes
Château Viranel Aromes Sauvages is a sophisticated French wine that showcases both grace and intensity. Born from the Saint-Chinian appellation’s limestone-rich soils, this wine exhibits a rich spectrum of aromas, including wild black fruits, garrigue herbs and spicy undertones. Its bold, full-bodied palate is reminiscent of ripe plums and blackberries, balanced with firm, velvety tannins. Well-structured with a delightful acidity, it concludes with a lingering finish of complex spicy nuances. Ideal for both cellaring and immediate enjoyment, Château Viranel Aromes Sauvages pairs excellently with grilled red meats and matured cheeses. Truly, a captivating representation of the terroir’s uniqueness.
Tasting Notes
Atramentaire colour, picture of the power of the boar. The first nose, gushes from the label... pepper, black fruit and ripe crushed thyme, fennel, toasted pinion. A musky smell a little reminder ... "Wild Flavors". Finally to the palate what a surprise! The attack is soft and fleshy. It is not heavy, the tannins are still young but full of promise. Dark chocolate, mocha and graphite empyreumatic aromas and spices involved in sensual pleasures. Decant largely to open this wine even more promising and beautifully unconventional. Finally, a boar and a rabbit... just have fun and enjoy ! It can be easily forgotten 5-7 years under good conditions of ageing.
