Product Notes

Astrolabe Durvillea Pinot Noir is an exquisite red wine of exceptional quality managed by the famed New Zealand winemaker, Simon Waghorn. It is born of perfectly ripe grapes from the majestic terrains of Marlborough, revealing enchanting nuances of cherries, berries and savoury aromas, harmonised with gentle oak enhancement. The medium-bodied palate offers a complex, full-flavoured taste with silky tannins, striking a wonderful balance between fruit freshness and earthy depth. Durvillea Pinot Noir is a beautiful expression of New Zealand climate in a glass, making it an elegant companion for a diverse range of dishes. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Tasting Notes

Ripe, fruity, varietal and enticing bouquet with aromas and flavours of fresh red cherry and plum, farmers market raspberries and flavours of clay and stone soil. Tannins and acidity add a sound foundation and texture for the fruit to rest on while the influence of oak is light adding in moments of vanilla and bakers spice. Balanced and ready to drink upon purchase and through 2024
