Spanning 75 hectares, this family-owned winery utilises a blend of traditional and modern viticulture techniques to create exceptionally balanced and sumptuous wines, with their favourite grapes being the Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Viura. Favouring environmentally-conscious practices, Bodegas Urbina refrains from using any chemical fertilisers, pesticidies or herbicides, instead they adopt a sustainable and organic approach. One of the most striking features of Bodegas Urbina is their ageing process, wines are aged in French or American oak barrels for up to 24 months, followed by an additional refinement period in the bottle.
