Product Notes

Condado de Haza 20 Aldeas wine, produced by the esteemed Fernandez Family, is an elegant Spanish red wine, coupling intense flavours with an opulent aroma. Offering hints of black fruits and spices, this full-bodied creation furnishes a delightful blend of tempranillo grapes. Expertly grown within the fertile Ribera del Duero region, each bottle graciously embodies its Spanish heritage. Consistent, well-structured with smooth tannins, it concludes on a lasting finish. An ideal choice for wine enthusiasts craving depth and richness, it pairs wonderfully with robust, meaty meals, proving to be an exceptional addition to any dinner party or occasion.

Tasting Notes

APPEARANCE - A clean, cherry-red colour. AROMAS - Intense aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries and plums. Subtle balsamic hints come through mingling with the characteristic liquorice notes of the Tempranillo grape, followed by toasty, smoky, vanilla hints that come from the wine’s ageing in American oak barrels. PALATE - This is a powerful wine with a fleshy entry on the palate and very good balance between tannins and acidity. The mouth-feel is one of volume and abundant round tannins that fill the mouth with fruit flavour. The wine becomes smoother as it develops towards a long, pleasant finish with hints of roasted coffee beans and liquorice coming through.
