The winery was established by Swiss winemaker, Jean-Claude Martin, and his South African wife, Carolyn, in 2002. It is woven into the hemispheres of their cultures, marrying Swiss precision with African passion. Excellent viticulture practices are not all that family-owned Creation Wines is celebrated for. The winery excels in producing an array of bold and elegant wines, from vibrant Chardonnays to rich and smooth Pinot Noirs. With vineyards expanding across 50 hectares, the output of this winery is not only admirable but also consistently exquisite.
Backdropped by the Babylonstoren Mountains and overlooking the deep blue ocean, the marriage of sand and clay on the winery's terrain makes it an ideal location for growing diverse grape varieties.
