About the Winery

Nestled in Chile's Maipo Valley, the Haras de Pirque winery stands as an epitome of winemaking excellence. With its conception in 1991, the esteemed property has been nurtured under the ownership of the Matte family, a distinguished figure on the Chilean wine and horseracing scene.

Boasting a vineyard spread of over 600 hectares, the terrain's exceptional conditions foster the production of high-calibre wines. The fertile, dynamic soils combined with a perfect microclimate pave the way for a wide array of grape varieties to thrive. This includes the emblematic Carmenère, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, amongst others.

The architecture of Haras de Pirque is a sight to behold. The structure emulates a horseshoe, symbolizing their equestrian background whilst encapsulating their avant-garde style.
