Visionaries Rita Tua and her husband, Virgilio Bisti, embarked on this venture in 1984 with no more than 2,000 vines. Today, the winery is recognised not only for its elelgant Redigaffi, a 100% Merlot, but also for its alluring blend of Cabernet and Merlot, Giusti di Notri and the enchanting Syrah variety that is just so typical of the Suvereto region.
A central tenet of Tua Rita’s philosophy has always been quality over quantity. This shines through in their approach to winemaking, which employs both traditional and innovative techniques. Employing hand-harvesting, minimal intervention and a keen eye for detail, each bottle is a labour of love.
