Famed for their innovative approach paired with traditional knowledge, they took the leap towards biodynamic winemaking in the late 90s. The nearly 10-hectare vineyard flourishes on iron-rich soil, or 'Opok,' as locally known. Curiously, the 'Opok' imparts notable minerality and vividly earthy nuances to the wines, setting them apart in the sophisticated sphere of Austrian wine.
