Product Notes

Graham's Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) wine is a riveting embodiment of the Douro region's rich terroir. Offering an opulent, full-bodied profile, this deep ruby-coloured treat carries luscious black fruit aromas with cinnamon undertones. Its palate is adorned with rich flavours of plums, cherries, and dark chocolate, augmented by a velvety texture. The finish, whilst long and sophisticated, breathes notes of spice and cocoa, a grand testament to its time in seasoned oak casks. From aperitifs to cheeses, Graham's LBV wine holds a versatile pairing credential. An absolute must-try for the discerning connoisseur craving an authentic Portuguese wine experience.

Tasting Notes

Graham’s 2014 LBV has an intense deep red colour. The wine has distinctive floral aromatics of violets and rock rose, which reflect the importance of the Touriga Nacional variety in the wine’s composition. In the mouth, compact, ripe black fruit flavours marry with fresh, spicy notes from the Sousão. The finish is typically Graham with the signature balance between complexity and elegance

The heart of Graham's winery is evidently the sprawling vineyards; golden-hued fields cloaked in lush grapevines stretching beyond the horizon. Each grape is meticulously nurtured, given its own time to blossom before being hand-plucked to maintain the highest quality. The result is a robust array of grapes, each contributing to the magnificent flavour profile that defines each bottle of Graham's wine.

As soon as you step into this haven, the soulful aroma of fermenting grapes fills the air, creating an ambience of warmth and tranquillity. The historical buildings, fused with state-of-the-art facilities, paint the picture of a winery that has successfully merged tradition with modern winemaking methods. Here, intricate techniques marry with nuances of the grapes; skillfully crafted to produce the finest wines.

Visitors are not just treated to a wine-tasting session, but a holistic experience capturing the charm of good old-fashioned winemaking complemented by England's enchanting beauty. The winery offers guided tours that dive deep into the winemaking process, their storied history, and, of course, the wines: from the robust reds, to the sparkling champagnes and the fragrant whites.

However an integral part of the winery's heritage is the centuries-old cellar-a treasure trove of vintage wines collected over the years. Each bottle here not just showcases the evolution of their taste over time, but also brings back a bit of history along with it.

Repeatedly acclaimed for its extraordinary brews and exemplary hospitality, Graham's winery continues to be an enduring favourite amongst wine enthusiasts.
