Product Notes

Groot Constantia Grand Constance is a sumptuous South African wine of world-class quality. Esteemed for its exquisite balance of sweetness and acidity, it boasts aromatic notes of ripe apricot, melon, and tropical fruit, complemented by undertones of honey and spicy oak. This golden-hued wine has a silken mouthfeel, culminating in a seductively long finish. Grand Constance, famously known as Napoleon Bonaparte's preferred wine, stands as the flagship of Groot Constantia, a historic winery with a rich heritage tracing back to 1685. An embodiment of opulence, this wine is an extraordinary indulgence for true wine enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes

White Muscat is complemented by with a small percentage of red Muscat, giving a beautiful amber colour. This legendary sweet wine delivers opulent aromas of caramel, toffee and a hint of Turkish Delight. The delicious notes of caramel and toffee follow through onto the palate with a hint of bitter almonds, beautifully balanced by a natural acidity leaving a very moreish finish.
