Product Notes

A delightful Italian red, Cantele Primitivo Puglia IGP hails from the sun-kissed vineyards of Southern Italy. Full-bodied yet gentle, it exhibits dark cherry allure, balanced with hints of plums, prunes, and spices. A generous undertone of creamy vanilla, courtesy of its oak ageing, results in a sublime finish. The low tannins ensure a smooth drink best paired with rich meat dishes or mature cheeses. This beautifully structured wine captures the Italian essence, emitting the allure of Puglia's local terroir. With a compelling intensity and excellent longevity, it is a timeless representation of Primitivo grapes at their finest.

Tasting Notes

Colour - Ruby red with delicate garnet undertones. Nose - The minerality of the nose creates a delicate combination of morello and sour cherry and prune. Floral and spicy notes follow in a superbly persistent finish. Palate - Gentle tannins, impressive acidity combine with the classic delicacy and alcoholic content of Primitivo in the flavours of this once forceful but now elegant and noble wine.
