Product Notes
Lukas Van Loggerenberg's Geronimo Cinsault wine is a posh testament to South African viticulture, marrying an indulgent taste profile with an easy-going structure. Its straw ruby hue is utterly inviting, extending an enchanting bouquet of red cherries, white pepper, rose petals and subtle anise. Geronimo Cinsault balances ripe red fruit flavours with an assertive hint of spice and earthiness. Delectably smooth and light-bodied, it maintains fine tannins, leaving a memorable imprint on the palate. This versatile wine beautifully complements a range of cuisines, making it a must-have for selective wine enthusiasts.
Tasting Notes
In our mind, this is comfortably the best Geronimo to date. We were blown away by the precision and elegance that Lukas’ has drawn out of the variety in this 2019 being imbued with bright, bristling crunchy red fruit and a persistent line of acidity, pink peppercorns, pink grapefruit and pomegranate seeds. While refreshing and enticing now, we’d love to taste it again in five years.
