Product Notes

Martín Códax Organistrum Rías Baixas Albariño is a vivacious Spanish wine that epitomises the lushness of the Galicia region. This expressive white wine emanates a refreshing blast of apricot, ripe apple and citrus blossoms. Balanced mineral tones enhance its complex, delicate palate, producing an irresistible full-bodied flavour. Aged using partial malolactic fermentation, it boasts a marvellous, rounded finish. Mirthful yet sophisticated, this Albariño is the perfect companion to seafood dishes. Exquisite, timeless, and infinitely enjoyable, the Martín Códax Organistrum Rías Baixas Albariño will truly delight any discerning wine lover.

Tasting Notes

Straw-yellow colour with intense green highlights. Nose: High aromatic intensity with a first touch of freshness, caramel and cocoa which reminds of the oak influence in the wine. Then the varietal fruit notes take place in a more ripe and soothing way: quince and apple compote. Palate: Balanced and structured. Round, full-bodied and powerful with a nice balanced acidity thanks to the bâtonnage, as well as spiced and long lasting.
