Product Notes

Michele Chiarlo Cannubi Barolo DOCG is an exquisite Italian wine, hailed from the renowned region of Barolo. This ruby red vino exudes an enchanting aroma of fruit notes accompanied by a hint of spices, offering a delightful stimulation of senses. The palate is treated to a complex medley of flavours, cascading from ripe, red fruits to mild spices with a touch of vanilla. Its rich, full-bodied texture is a manifestation of Nebbiolo grapes' grandeur. The velvety, yet robust tannins culminate in a long-lasting, elegant finish, making this wine an ideal pairing with red meats and mature cheeses. It indeed represents Barolo's prestigious vineyards.

Tasting Notes

Cannubi is the apogee of Barolo. Aromatically intense, aristocratic and with superb persistence, it shows notes of blackcurrants, liquorice, cinnamon, mint and tobacco. Elegant and seductive, with a great structure and a silky texture, this celebrated cru is noted for its extraordinary completeness and personality.
