Product Notes

Pheasant's Tears Rkatsiteli Tibaani wine, originating from Georgia's famed wine region, is a compelling expression of terroir. Guests are treated to an intriguing amber colour, hinting at its traditional production method. Produced with locally grown Rkatsiteli grapes, it enchants with soaring floral aromatics, orchestrated with notes of dried orchard fruits and subtle spices. This wine offers an inviting palate of apricots, honey and crushed walnuts, balanced alongside a vibrant acidity. Confiltered, the texture is voluptuously oily, offering a depth and complexity. It's a captivating, natural wine, perfect for adventurous wine lovers, and pairs exceptionally well with sturdy dishes.

Tasting Notes

An orange wine and a classic for anyone who is curious to try this oxidative, unique style. This Rkatsiteli was fermented and aged in qvevri, or clay amphora, for six months. The slow intake of oxygen makes this wine distinctly not gold, not brilliant, but appetising. Aromas of raw honey, walnuts, and lightly dried apricots merge with a tannic palate. This wine comes from the Tibaani village in Kakheti, Causcaus, Georgia
