Product Notes

The Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Chenevottes' is a delight for the senses. At first glance, you will be captivated by its radiant golden hue. The wine's aromatic bouquet of fresh citrus and exotic fruits is gracefully interlaced with nuances of toasted almonds and sweet spices. On the palate, it is rich, harmoniously balanced and brimming with flavours of ripe pears and sweet honey. This complex wine has an elegant minerality that perfectly culminates in a long, luscious finish. A splendid manifestation of the Burgundy terroir, this Premier Cru is truly an emblem of finesse.

Tasting Notes

Les Chenevottes exhibits a lovely richness and depth. Elegant and expressive, this wine is spicy with a toasted nut nuance. Vanilla and pear are evident on both the nose and the palate where there is a bracing acidity present. The lengthy finish is clean and powerful leaving a lasting impression. Ideal with spinach lasagna with salmon, or morel chicken. To be served at 10-12°C. Ageing potential: 5-7 years.
