Product Notes

The Pieropan Le Colombare Recioto di Soave is an illustrious Italian wine, hailing from the historic Veneto region. Known for its unique Recioto style, it boasts a sweet yet deep, harmonious profile. Exhibiting a pale gold hue, it entices with aromas of honeyed almonds, ripe peaches, and spiced pears. The palate reveals layers of stone fruit, melon, and citrus flavours, entwined with a mineral undertone. Matured in oak barrels, it balances complexity and richness, alongside a pleasant acidity. Ideally served chilled, the Pieropan Le Colombare Recioto di Soave is a delicious testament to the Veneto wine tradition.

Tasting Notes

This Recioto di Soave has an intense gold, almost amber colour and boasts dried apricot and lightly toasted almond aromas. The wine has a perfectly balanced palate, with just the right level of delicate sweetness offset by fresh acidity. Lovely, rich, almost exotic fruit comes through on the palate, with a baked peach character and a long, perfumed finish.
