This elegant Chardonnay has a nutty style, with balanced creamy stone fruits and exotic passionfruit. Grapes for this wine come from the Om Santi and Palliser vineyards in the Martinborough winegrowing region. It was barrel-fermented and aged for 10 months on lees in 17% new French oak, to add texture and structure. Palliser Estate was established in 1989 and was one of the pioneers of this great wine region.
