This wine is a celebration of the vineyard first planted by Donnafugata's founder, Gabriella Rallo, in the 1980s. The grapes are harvested from this historic vineyard and fermented in stainless steel tanks before being aged for 12 months in new and used French oak barrels. The result is a complex red wine with flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, and spice. Enjoy it with grilled meats or pasta dishes with red sauce.
