Product Notes

Crafted in the picturesque hills of Tuscany, San Polino Helichrysum Brunello di Montalcino DOCG wine is a remarkable testament to Italian winemaking heritage. Its deep ruby red colour is visually irresistible, whilst its rich bouquet exudes enticing aromas of ripe cherries, tobacco, and delicate spice. The palate is wonderfully balanced, showcasing intense blackberry and leather notes, rounded off by a hint of peppery oak. Aged meticulously in seasoned oak barrels, it offers a lingering, full-bodied finish. An exemplary display of Sangiovese, this wine truly embodies the gold standard of Italian reds.

Tasting Notes

Dark ruby to garnet with terracotta on the rim, the nose is fruity and full, with notes of blackcurrent, violet, a small hint of rose petal, forest floor, spicy. The mouth is dry, full-bodied, corpulent, thick and juicy, with structured ripe tannins and balanced acidity, long, persistant finish.
