The Tablas Creek Vineyard's Esprit de Tablas Blanc wine is an illustrious blend showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of the winemakers. Derived from the balmy vineyards of California, the delectable wine offers an exquisite melange of fresh pear, peach and summer blossom notes. Its palate is audaciously complex, boasting of rich honeysuckle, green apple and stone fruit flavours, complemented by crisp acidity and underlying minerality. This white wine has a seamless integration of plush creaminess and spirited spiciness. It is a beautifully rendered tribute to its Rhône roots, promising an engaging journey of refined taste and lasting finish. Ideal for those seeking a sophisticated indulgence.

Tasting Notes

A spicy, deep Roussanne nose of wildflower honey, cedar spice, jasmine, and Asian pear. The mouth shows flavors of baked pear, cinnamon stick, and brioche, all deepened by a little sweet oak. The wine's rich texture is balanced by nice acids and a saline mineral note on the finish. A powerful Esprit Blanc that we expect to go out two decades, gaining additional nuttiness and complexity over the years.

Being biodynamically farmed and certified organic, the vineyard is all about the coexistence of land and vine. They reject the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilisers and opt instead to treat the land with nature's own tools – animals grazing on cover crops, enriching the soil with their manure, and bees pollinating the vines.

The vineyard itself is comprised of a vast 120 acres, boasting an impressive array of grape varietals including Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Counoise for red wine, and Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier Perfume, and Grenache Blanc for white wine.

At the heart of Tablas Creek Vineyard is the tasting room, the focal point of the grapes transformative journey into elegant wines. Patrons can taste an array of luscious wines, learn about the winemaking process, and explore the vast vineyard on guided tours.
