Product Notes
Terroir Sense Fronteres Guix Vermell is an impeccable, biodynamic red wine emanating from Spain's Montsant region. It showcases a mesmerising blend of Grenache and Carignan grapes that delivers a rich, well-rounded palate, featuring ripe, dark fruit flavours. Balanced nuances of sweet spices, earthy undertones, subtle herbs and delicate minerals lend complexity to this elegant wine. Aged in French oak barrels bestow it a soft tannic structure culminating in a prolonged, silky finish. Its vivid ruby colour and fragrant bouquet of red berries make it an absolute visual and aromatic delight. Best enjoyed with meat-based tapas and Spanish cheese.
Tasting Notes
The refined beauty of this dry red is less taste than experience. A wild ride of tension, depth and complexity. The lithe aromas and flavours move like a dancer across the nose and palate from deep red and blue fruit to stone to spice with a consistent velvety texture. Yet that seems almost secondary to the nearly transcendental balance and inner quiet. The wine grew from respect for the land and the culture. It belongs to a place and a time, and as such is a true mirror for the power, mystery and beauty of its region.
