Product Notes

Vesevo Beneventano Falanghina is a magnificent white wine from Italy's Campania region. The wine is a seductive symphony of tropical fruit and floral notes with a touch of spice beneath. On the palate, it reveals a pleasant texture with balanced acidity, embodying flavours of ripe peach, lemon zest, and just a whisper of almonds. Its finish is persistent and refreshing. Made from the indigenous Falanghina grape, Vesevo Beneventano Falanghina is an excellent representation of Italy's viticultural heritage. It pairs beautifully with seafood, white meats or enjoyed chilled as an aperitif on a warm evening.

Tasting Notes

Bright straw yellow in colour, the Falanghina 2021 has intense perfumes of white flowers and white melon with mineral notes that provide a backdrop to the full, ripe palate. An elegant wine, with a lingering touch of honey on the finish.

About the Winery

Vesevo

Nestled in the heart of Campania, Italy, Vesevo winery is an emblem of traditional Italian winemaking at its finest. The vineyard is acclaimed for producing some of the most distinct and refined wines in the region, crafted from time-honoured recipes and age-old techniques.

Standing tall at altitudes between 450 and 700 metres, Vesevo vineyards are blessed with a unique microclimate; the warmth of the Italian sun balanced by cool mountain breezes from Mount Vesuvius. This perfect mix provides the slow ripening conditions that are optimum for producing full-bodied and aromatic wines. The vines, finding it harder to grow in the volcanic soil, put their energy into producing fewer grapes, but with more concentrated flavours, which directly translates into the exceptional taste of Vesevo's wines.

Vesevo boasts an exquisite selection of wines, including their signature Falanghina and Aglianico. The former, a fabulous white wine with blasts of bright, zesty flavours and delightful floral undertones, truly captures the essence of Italian sun-soaked afternoons. The latter, a sumptuous red wine exuding the richness of black cherry and spicy leather, is best enjoyed while breaking bread and sharing laughter with your loved ones.

Leading the industry with organic practices the Vesevo winery prioritises sustainability every step of the way. From minimising water use to recycling waste, nurturing native flora to encouraging wildlife diversity, they truly embody the principle of vine to bottle.

By prioritising quality over quantity, and championing sustainable practices, Vesevo winery has not only been producing delightful wines but also setting a benchmark for other vineyards to aspire to. Without a doubt Vesevo is a crown jewel in Italy's winemaking history and promises to keep pouring the essence of Italy, one delicious bottle at a time.

So whether you're a wine connoisseur, an enthusiast or simply someone who enjoys a delightful glass of wine, Vesevo winery has something in store for you. Pay a visit, take a tour, sip some of their magic and get lost in their world of timeless flavours and passion for winemaking.
