Product Notes

Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz is a world-class Australian wine originating from Eden Valley vineyards. Exuberating a deep crimson hue; this elegant wine provides a complex palate of red, blue and purple fruits; integrated with notes of ripe plum, blackcherry, and fragrant spices. It manifests muted nuances of vanilla, cinnamon and pepper owing to fermentation in French oak barrels. Tannins are dynamic, yet refined, creating a harmonised balance with the fruit intensity. The finish is long and charming, complementing its firm structure. Truly, a venerable tipple for discerning oenophiles, it brings forward Eden Valley terroir's quintessence in splendid style.

Tasting Notes

Deep crimson with violet hues. Fragrant, spicy aromas of black pepper, sage, bay leaf and anise are interwoven with vibrant Satsuma plum, blackberry and blueberry, and gentle tarragon and cedar notes. The palate is complex and textured with rich and concentrated flavours of mulberry, blackberry and Satsuma plum, layered with sage, black pepper and star anise. The finish is beautifully balanced, with long, velvety tannins and excellent depth.
