Product Notes

Vasse Felix Filius Cabernet Sauvignon is a remarkable expression of Western Australia's winemaking excellence. Its velvety texture, combined with a lure of ripe plum, blackcurrant, and subtle vanilla oak bouquet, create an extraordinary encounter. This exquisite wine showcases refined tannins that are beautifully balanced, offering a finish that is both long and luscious. A robust mid-palate reveals hints of cacao, adding to its complexity. The hints of oak and spice enhance the wine's depth, promise ageing potential. Perfect to accompany a sumptuous Sunday roast or a spot of aged cheddar, it's a truly sophisticated indulgence.

Tasting Notes

A deep perfume with blackcurrant, blueberry and coffee mocha complexities. Notes of dusty earth and woody perennial herbs mingle with hints of nori, dried forest leaves and wild mushrooms to create an inviting aroma. A light fragrant entrance with blackcurrant, raspberry and pot pourri builds to earthy complexities and fine dry dusty tannins which serve to frame the fruit. A comfortable, soft, juicy body and tannin profile finishes the wine fresh and long.
