Product Notes
A top-tier Beaujolais, Chateau de Pierreux's Brouilly wine is an absolute delight. This French gem, made from Gamay grapes, expresses sheer elegance and complexity in every bottle. Its charming ruby-red colour is the prelude to a harmony of ripe red and black fruit aromatics, notably cherries and blackberries. These flavours burst in the mouth, gradually unveiling hints of spicy pepper and liquorice, finely balanced by a refreshing mineral touch. On the palate, it showcases a delightful silkiness, rounded off by refined tannins that make for a lasting and pleasantly harmonious finish. A wine truly embodying the Brouilly's gracious terroir.
Tasting Notes
This wine is very aromatic, with notes of morello cherries, blackberry jam, sweet spices and floral notes. The palate is complex and concentrated, revealing flavours of toffee and dark chocolate, with a mineral touch that's characteristic of the wines of Pierreux. Medium-bodied with soft, well-integrated tannins.
