Product Notes
G.D Vajra's Barbera d'Alba is a scintillating Italian wine that hails from the fabled Piedmont region. This wine charms with its ruby-red hue and bursts of wild berries and plum on the nose. On the palate, it's delightfully tangy, backed by soft tannins and a delightful, well-rounded acidity. It carries an undercurrent of earthy depth that adds complexity without overpowering the fruit. Infused with flavours of red cherries, currants and hint of spices, this medium-bodied wine finishes delightfully elegant and smooth. Perfect alongside hearty meat dishes, it's a truly remarkable embodiment of Italy’s wine-making prowess.
Tasting Notes
Barbera D'Alba is deep purple in colour. The nose is vibrant and has aromas of blackcurrant, herbs, dried leaves as well as dried strawberries and sundried tomato. The palate is incredibly layered with a wonderfully elegant texture and a smooth, long finish.
