Product Notes

Umani Ronchi Pelago wine is a delightful Italian concoction, bursting with rich, complex flavours. Deriving from the Marche region, this charismatic blend combines Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Its deep, ruby red colour and the elegant bouquet showcase intense aromas of ripe fruit, blackcurrants, and wild cherries seamlessly transitioning into a sophisticated hint of spices and cocoa. The flavour palette is characterized by strong tannins, seamlessly balanced by a gentle acidity, culminating in a lingering, satisfying finish. This full-bodied wine is ideally paired with red meat, mature cheese, and savoury dishes. A genuinely superb example of Italian winemaking artistry.

Tasting Notes

Inky ruby red tinged with purple hints. The nose unfurls a typical Cabernet profile of intense, clean, refined spice notes of coffee, black pepper, liquorice and tobacco against a backdrop of grass and hay. The mouth unfurls forest berries, vanilla and mineral aromas, and noticeable but mature tannins all in harmony with the wine’s elegance.
