Product Notes
The Pio Cesare Langhe Sauvignon Blanc wine is a notable Italian gem. It boasts a delicately expressed nose with invigorating scents of lemongrass, gooseberry, and subtle tropical fruit. On the palate, it is highly vibrant, showcasing perfect balance between mineral nuances and tangy citrus flavours. The modest alcohol content provides a light-bodied texture that beautifully complements the wine’s slight acidity. Its well-rounded taste makes it perfect for pairing with seafood dishes. From one sip, it's apparent why Piedmont, the region the grapes are grown in, has a reputation for producing world-class wine. Truly, a white wine lover's delight.
Tasting Notes
Pio Cesare Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and fresh, with notes of lemon sorbet, lime zest, green apple, and white peach. There are also hints of the herb and vegetable patches and freshly cut grass, which give it a ‘garden party’ kind of feel. It finds a lovely middle ground between the full-on intensity of New Zealand and the fruitlessness and minerality of the Loire, and it’s just screaming out for some al fresco dining.
