Established in 1991, the Sesti Vineyard, though rich in character and echo, is relatively young. The estate is operated by Giuseppe Sesti and his daughter Elisa who together, uphold the traditions of winemaking. Cultivated with innovative biodynamic methods, Sesti vines yield a distinct flavour, which is the testament of the symbiotic relationship between Earth and vine.
Lovers of reds will revel in Sesti's flagship wine, Brunello di Montalcino. With its 100% Sangiovese blend, it's a rich interpretation of Tuscany's grape varietal, harmonised with elegant touches of anise and cherry. Barrelling for five years, the Brunello is patient in creation and grand in presentation.
In 1999 Giuseppe and Elisa Sesti, became stewards of the neighbouring Castello di Argiano creating a unified estate that restored the historical connection between these two majestic properties.
