Frescobaldi Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is a majestic Tuscan wine originating from Italy's esteemed Frescobaldi estates. This garnet-hued wine presents an enchanting bouquet of ripe red fruits, interlaced with traces of sweet spices and gentle woodsy notes. On the palate, this Chianti Classico Riserva tantalises with lively acidity and robust tannins, leading to a flavourful, seamless finish. Matured for 24 months in Slavonian oak casks, this wine exhibits a wonderful balance in texture and complexity. Ideal for cellaring, it brilliantly compliments hearty Italian dishes, offering the quintessential taste of the Tuscan terroir.

Tasting Notes

Its bouquet is complex and intense. Floral scents, ranging from sweet violet to dog-rose immediately pervade the nose; fruity notes soon make their entrance, recalling blackcurrant and blueberry. Over time, the emphasis shifts to tertiary notes evoking nutmeg and black pepper, as well as cocoa powder. It closes with hints of noble tobacco and leather. The finish is long and harmonious.
