Product Notes
A remarkable blend of finesse and complexity, Deovlet Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Chardonnay is a testament to superior Californian winemaking. The bouquet reveals beautiful floral, lime and apple notes, harmoniously balanced by hints of toasted brioche. On the palate, it's elegantly structured, exhibiting delightful minerality, underpinned by layers of citrus, vanilla spice and a slight nuttiness. Paired best with light seafood dishes, this subtle yet full-bodied Chardonnay, matured in French oak barrels, provides a particularly refreshing, lingering finish. Truly a spectacular white wine.
Tasting Notes
Fine crisp salty stony citrus fruit, very crystalline and precise on the nose - almost Puligny-like, with the a touch of white flower coming through with time. The palate is calm measured and sleek, with a light grip of dry extract, lovely acidity and a sense of clear purity. A fine vein of fresh butter reminds you this is Chardonnay, but the dominant impression at this early juncture is racy fine citrus and polished river stone minerality
