Product Notes
Gérard Bertrand Cigalus Rouge is an exquisite red wine from the renowned vineyards of Southern France. A perfect blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, it represents the opulence of French viticulture. The wine radiates a deep ruby colour, revealing intricate flavours of blackcurrant, raspberry, and vanilla. Its luxuriantly velvety texture carries hints of spice and chocolate, tapering elegantly towards a satin finish. Well-structured, full-bodied, and aged in French oak, this wine marries intensity with sophistication. Gérard Bertrand Cigalus Rouge is exceptional, the embodiment of fine wine-making, and a perfect companion for red meat or cheese.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby colour with a mahogany hue. The bouquet shouts concentrated, very ripe black fruit, grilled spice and toasted oak. The palate is lush and opulent with velvety tannins. The aromas of black fruit -blackberries, black cherries and plums - reappear with a complex empyreumatic web leading into mint. The finish is long with a perfect balance. Serve at 16°C, perfect with roasted red meat, poultry "en sauce" or ripened cheeses
