The roots of Kir-Yianni winery date as far back as 1967, when Yiannis Boutaris founded the estate in the northwestern part of Greece. The Kir-Yianni winery, now operated by his sons Stellios and Michalis Boutaris, continues to uphold the traditional values of its founder without losing sight of continuous innovation. Their boutique approach to wine production is fondly reflected in their red wine label "Ramnista", a Xinomavro that delivers a bold, complex palate. Concurrently, their white varietals, such as Malagousia and Assyrtiko, are delicately balanced and captivating. Kir-Yianni’s vineyards spans over two regions, Amyndeon and Naoussa which, collectively boasts over 40 hectares of carefully tended vines.
