Product Notes

Noon Eclipse is an exquisite Australian wine that utterly captivates the senses. Birthed from the McLaren Vale region, it manifests an aromatic symphony of dark fruits and spicy undertones, intertwined with subtle notes of chocolate and anise. Illuminating a dense and vivid ruby hue, the Eclipse radiates a robust, full-bodied profile. The palate brims with rich, undulating flavours, juxtaposed superbly against silky tannins, imparting a harmonious, lingering finish. A sublime triumph of viticulture stemming from traditional winemaking techniques, the Noon Eclipse is a truly enticing experience that dances on the palate, leaving a lasting sensory impression.

Tasting Notes

The 2022 Eclipse displays a lovely red robe. The deep colour this year was immediately apparent when crushing the grapes. The aroma is very attractive, with ripe red berries in abundance, along with spice and a woodsy undergrowth note. Great depth of flavour filling every corner of the palate, developing richness and building right through to the long, firm finish

About the Winery

Noon

Noon Winery is a celebrated family-owned wine estate found in the renowned McLaren Vale, South Australia. The winery, recognised for the superior quality of its house-produced wines, possesses a rich heritage that dates back to 1976. Unfalteringly committed to producing full-bodied, robust wines, Noon Winery has successfully carved a niche in the world of fine wines.

Acclaimed wine artisans, Drew and Raegan Noon, oversee the winemaking processes, embracing traditional methods to painstakingly manufacture the wines. This hands-on approach guarantees that every bottle of Noon Winery wine embodies flawless quality and the unique, unmistakably vibrant characteristics of the McLaren Vale terroir. With limited, carefully managed production, Noon Winery has managed to produce high-quality, bespoke wines that are popular with discerning wine enthusiasts both domestically and globally.

Their wide range of wines, encompassing Grenache, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, to Rose, all bear testament to the Noon's proprietary blending techniques and attention to detail. Emphasising their commitment to high-quality, sustainable farming practices, the majority of their vineyards are grown dry without using any irrigation. This allows the wines to boast of their vibrant, full-bodied, and rich flavours, which have cultivated a loyal following among wine aficionados worldwide.

Another unique feature of Noon Winery is the boutique, welcoming cellar door. Here, customers can indulge in wine tastings and savour the rich, complex flavours the estate has to offer. Housed in a rustic, charming building, the cellar door experience at Noon Winery is one that leaves a lasting impression.

In essence, Noon Winery is a testament to masterful winemaking that marries tradition with innovation; creating wines that are complex, full-bodied, and rich with the unique characteristics of the McLaren Vale terroir. Its reputation as a premium wine producer is well-deserved and solidify their place among the best in the global wine industry.

However Noon Winery offers more than exceptional wine, it offers an intimate experience in wine appreciation that is often lost in the commercialisation of the industry. Despite the acclaim, the winery has maintained it's humble, family-focused and friendly ethos. This, in turn has made Noon Winery an attraction for tourists, wine enthusiasts, and those who appreciate the virtue of good wine-making.
