Elvio Cogno Dolcetto d'Alba Vigna del Mandorlo is a distinctive and much-loved red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy. A wonderful bright ruby red in colour, it presents a rich array of flavours. One can savour the wonderful blend of ripe fruits, including black cherries and plums, with a hint of almond on the nose. The palette is a delightful array of subtle spice, incorporated into a truly elegant structure. Bright ruby red in color with deep violet highlights. The perfume is immediate and intense, uncompromisingly winey and persistent, with primary aromas. Redolent of grape must which, while ageing, develops sensations of red wild berries. The mouth is dry and full-bodied, elegant and round, with notes of fruit and a wonderfully fresh and juicy finish.
