Product Notes

The Ernie Els Signature wine is a premium South African blend boasting a deep, garnet colour. It’s tantalisingly rich, offering opulent dark berry fruit flavours layered with hints of graphite, spice, and tobacco. This sensational full-bodied wine is made primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, rounded out with other Bordeaux Varietals. It delivers a compelling balance of elegance and power, backed by velvety tannins and memorable length. Matured in new French oak for 18 months, the Els Signature is truly fabulous and worth the indulgence. It’s a testament to the meticulous care of Ernie's winemaking team and their commitment to crafting world-class wines.

Tasting Notes

Fruit cake plus a mixture of dried fruits, plums, mince pie, cocoa dust, vanilla and prunes. Secondary aromas of leather, tobacco, cigar, pipe tobacco and charcoal counter the dense cherry-cola fruit purity. Serious and layered with elements of fynbos to add lift to a firm palate with a long and delicious finish. It is powerful, full-bodied, classic, dry and long ending
