Nestled in the heart of Spain’s prestigious Rioja wine region, Bodegas Urbina is a revered beacon of viniculture that boasts over four generations of expertise in cultivating the finest and most luxurious Spanish wines. The estate, situated near the old town of Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón. rests on the western edge of the Rioja region. Allowing it to expertly explore and exploit multiple terroirs; resulting in a diverse and superior quality portfolio.

Spanning 75 hectares, this family-owned winery utilises a blend of traditional and modern viticulture techniques to create exceptionally balanced and sumptuous wines, with their favourite grapes being the Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo and Viura. Favouring environmentally-conscious practices, Bodegas Urbina refrains from using any chemical fertilisers, pesticidies or herbicides, instead they adopt a sustainable and organic approach. This conscious commitment enhances every harvest.

One of the most striking features of Bodegas Urbina is their ageing process, wines are aged in French or American oak barrels for up to 24 months, followed by an additional refinement period in the bottle. The outcome of this meticulous method is a selection of wines with rich complexity and longevity, that currently no other winery can match.
