Product Notes
Brash Higgins ZBO Zibibbibo Amphora is a chic and enchanting wine from Australia. This rather unconventional wine is created by fermenting Zibbibo grapes in amphoras for several months, lending it a complex, hypnotic aroma and deep, rich flavour. It is characterised by an alluring balance of fruitiness and earthiness, bristling with notes of citrus and exotic spices that linger delightfully on the palate. Unfined and unfiltered, it has a lovely, cloudy texture, and an expressive, rounded, slightly tannic finish. This wine is a testament to artisanal winemaking techniques, ideal for those seeking a truly unique gustatory experience.
Tasting Notes
The wine is dry yet exudes tantalising herbal, spice and stone fruit aromas. Complex nose of apricot, graphite/pencil shavings, cut ginger, cloves, elderflower, white pepper, Belgian white ale, and wild honey leaps from the glass. On the palate, the wine has a soft entry but with good grip, an earthy sweet chalk/clay element with notes of lemon oil, tangerines, tea and cinnamon apples
